Highlights of the Week |
Hello Inman Square Families, We hope that you had an amazing work week and that you have a great long weekend:) In Infants this week, they used their sense of touch to explore the texture of paint. Our friends continue to work on their large muscle skills as they are walking, climbing, and exploring on their tummies. During music class, the children moved and grooved to various drum beats and East Asian rhythms. Even our younger friends were able to move their legs and arms up and down to the music. In Toddler A, the children enjoyed using their large muscle skills to ride on the group swing at Sennott Park. They used team work to take turns and share the swing with each other. Everyone was very excited at the friendship party where they ate, laughed, and danced. Our friends also used their pincer grasp to hold crayons and markers to draw. In Toddler B, the children enjoyed using a box to climb on, draw on and fill and empty, They enjoyed giving out their Valentines and had yummy treats and a dance party. We worked on cleaning and putting away works as well as taking turns and being patient. In Preschool, the children enjoyed giving out their Valentines to one another as well as passing out yummy treats to each other. Everyone partied hard and had lots of fun. They have been practicing name recognition and writing. While in extended music class some of our friends got to play a guitar and a glockenspiel.
